This project proposes a prefabricated residential home built with the Hormipresa system, designed to streamline the construction process and cut programme times without giving up quality or comfort. Prefabrication allows for precise assembly and a high degree of efficiency on site.
Casa en Montserrat sets out to settle its volume into the landscape, playing with clean geometries and expressive materials while making the most of natural light and the local climate. The layout is functional, with well-ventilated interiors that open directly onto the outside.
The finishes are conceived to combine durability with a modern aesthetic, using honest materials and details that give the house character, along with passive solutions for thermal comfort. The proposal reflects a commitment to innovation in residential construction.
This competition entry shows how Kairós Arquitectura approaches innovative residential projects, where efficiency, sustainability and contemporary design converge in a clear, well-resolved proposal.
