Kairos: origin and meaning.

Kairos is a concept from Greek philosophy that represents an indeterminate period of time in which something important happens. Its literal meaning is “appropriate or opportune moment”.

The main difference with chronos is that, while Kairos is qualitative in nature, Chronos is quantitative. As a god, Kairos was semi-obscure, while Cronus was the quintessential deity of the time.
